Eh, I think the secret of a good blog is to keep your reader in mind and always think “How is the reader feeling?” as you guide them through your writing.
Hey, good to see you. I think there is a point to what you are saying, but there is something incredibly powerful about doing what you love rather than trying to please others…there is a glory in being ourselves and glory is definitely attractive.
About the consistency thing…
I knew a guy who owned a bar (not good, but it’s just an example) that got lots of business until he closed it down for two weeks to remodel. Most of his regular customers went somewhere else and he couldn’t get them to come back even months later. It’s probably out of business by now.
